Jimmy Nelson
I lead the Nelson Ecosystem Lab at the University of Georgia, where we study marine and estuarine food webs, biogeochemistry, and ecosystem resilience across coastal systems.
My work integrates field sampling, stable isotope analysis, and spatial modeling to understand how energy and nutrients move through Gulf and Atlantic coastal landscapes.
